spyder cab

I was skeptical at first upon seeing this yellow little cabby thats been roaming around town since the middle of june, some question hinders my thought, will this cab click to the waraynon? since there is motorcycles, jeeps and multicabs who have been operating for years, and its fair is so expensive, will the people still take a hitch with this cab?...

The second time i saw this cabs again i got this impulse to take a photo of it just for the sake. I stand on the corner of Justice Romualdez and Salazar street hoping to see one cab, but it seem they have eluded me and that they sense that im after them. i go for weeks finding this cab again, but on the circumstances that i spot them, it wasnt the perfect timing to take a shot on this elusive cab. One sunny afternoon of july, I found this cab lying still in Rizal plaza, waiting for passengers and i was static and rushed to take photo of it. I was jittery so my friend took the picture. And right after that, the next day, they came swarming before my eyes, as if they know my search for them has ended. -the epiphany of looking for something.

i found this itsy bitsy information about this so called Spyder Cab

Route :
Hospital, Educational, Religous, Commercial Places to any point in Tacloban City. Its boundaries are in San Juanico Bridge and somewhere in Pawing.

Classification: Mini Jitney (classified by the ltfrb)

Fare: take note 8 pesos only on the first 3 kilometers. and 1 peso to every succeding kilometers.
Operator: Jega Corp.

Jega Corp have10 Spyder Cab operating now and they have 10 more pending cabs.
Its a recycled car and redesigned by Norkis for the said purpose. This cab is environmental friendly. And this was originated in Lapu lapu, Cebu. The owner saw this little cabby and thought why not have this in Tacloban.

This 8 seater mini cab is a big help to the townsmen of Tacloban for its flexibility to take passenger to where ever they want to. They also serve as on call taxi and they could fetch you in your house to your office and from your office to your house (door to door basis) or you can load cargo in the cab. (fare subject to negotiate with the driver.)

The next time you see this little cabby, take a hitch and see its wonder. (lol)

ride em up!
